“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”
— Aristotle
Everything begins with the self.
Not the self built for others, but the quiet internal foundation from which life truly grows.
Without this connection, everything else eventually loses direction. Because the way we see ourselves becomes the way we touch the world.
Acceptance, trust, respect, tenderness toward oneself — these are not luxuries. They are forms of inner stability.
The words “love your neighbor as yourself” begin to sound different once understood deeply. One cannot truly receive another without first learning how to receive oneself.
And because the self is alive, it needs space.
